Baguio 2012: Cool for a day

Since summer heat was very prickly we had our one day trip to Baguio main purpose was to visit someone but for me was to shop for warmers for my winter escapade because baguio's cold weather gave people an excuse to wear knits:). So first stop was the ever famous mines View Park

There were too many people in the area were you could take a picture of the mountain view so heres a quick shot my mom took. This was our first stop and I already bought 2 sweathers here Next stop was Camp John Hay

Forgive the Russian Hat i got it for a really good find & Im so "aliw" with it. The last 2 photos are taken at Camp John Hay. Its been years since i last went to baguio I didnt know there was a statue of liberty in the area:)) well i think that was the picnic place but still its like theyre own version of central park. Ater this went back to the house we were staying for lunch and we were greeted by this cute kid:) Shes so young but she loves the camera:)Look at how he accents her shoulder:)

After lunch we were headed to the city to buy more sweaters and pasalubong. After the shopping went home and had an impromptu photoshoot as my gift to a friend's debut. Well i had fun shopping surprisingly I got 4 sweaters 1 poncho 2 gloves 2 scarves and 3 beanies..This trip is so bitin i wish to go back next time:)

Corregidor: Travel Back in Time

Years ago my Family went to Corregidor and i wasnt able to go with them since my dad didnt allowed me.  Im glad this time it pushed throught:) such a historical journey we took a boat c/o Sun Cruises just like going on to a voyage it took us more than an hour before we get to the shores of corregidor giving me time for my nap:)

Upon arrival to the island we were welcomed by trams that will bring us to all the wonderful places in the island. I like how the trams look like an old bus but just opened on both sides so it would be easier for people to get off. It even has bells to signal the passengers:)

First stop was the Malinta Tunnel. This tunnel served as the basecamp and inside you could see the events that happened back in history during the war. Experience them with the lights and voices show inside the tunnel.

Before we had our lunch we passed by Mc Arthur's statue which stood on the same spot where he said the words " I shall Return". We also passed by the Ruins of the Barracks by the married soldiers & bachelor soldiers.

 Still I am as usuall amazed with the big guns. I mean it weighs tons and bullets are almost half my height so i dont know how they all manage to fire them back then. I really wonder how they move it cheers to the soldiers who manned those guns and their super strength so here are my photos with the big guns!

Even if the heat was getting prickly i still managed to get a few shots at the light house that served as a watchtower to those planes arriving and departing the island. Some tourist managed to go up but i didnt because i was scared plus its hot so just went around the souvineir shops int he area.

Next stop was the Pacific War Memorial & Museum. I went first to the museum that housed a memorabilla of the gifts and items used during the war era. The bills used and even the guns used in battle. There you can see the uniform of the generals and some of the bullets used in the canyons. Outside the museum is a big map of corregidor that looks like they say a tadpole but sometimes i see a different figure:))

The memorial too has a dome which has a hole in the middle of the dome to allow light to enter. I forgot what the tourguide told me but the light entering the dome signifies something. They also got the structure of Eternal flame that is offered to those who died in war.

Well i would definitely go to corregidor especially when im taking history subjects cause its really like a review back in time.For me i got so amazed with the guns and how they structured the barracks for all the soldiers.Oh and im also Glad we are with some Filipino Artists on board:)

I just wanna be on the beach.

Had a mini photoshoot at the beach area of Makati Shangrila! thank you mom for taking the photo. With the rocks im feeling like one of those women in fantaseryes. My dream role to be a mermaid. i just love that beach its whiter and more majestic than the beaches in station 1,2 &3:)

So heres the outcome:)

Can i pass for FHM? nah just joking!

Boracay2012 (Day 3)

          Woke up to the 2nd to the last breakfast with cire:) Going sentimental because i was enjoying so much going around and bonding with cire and this boracay trip being the farthest out of town trip we had together. Loving the long walks and Adventures with him. so heres the first outfit i wore to breakfast:) A maxi Dress i got from a bazaar

 

Went around for a few hours had a short rest before were off to Island Hoping:)

 Had a mini Photoshoot in this beach are with whiter sand

 Crystal cove! went in with Cire:) This place is like a giant island park:)

Will post the beach & crystal Cove separately:)The only activity we had in our stay but i totally enjoyed company sweetheart even if hes really not fond of water activities it always makes him dizzy:)
