Around AU in 58 Days: Scenic World Blue Mountains

Just a short drive from the look out of the three sisters ( Previous post). At the very top of Blue Mountains is Scenic World. Its like a mini attraction park you could use to enjoy the majestic view of the Blue Mountains. There are different amenities you could use to enjoy the view of blue mountains. You could take the steep train downhill and take a trek back up or ride the Glass Bottom Cable Car to the other side of the mountain. I took the cable car/ Sky ride. It took guts for me because i know im miles above the ground and its a big cliff that ill be at.

This is where the Cable Car runs. It will move until the first half of the ride then stop in the middle. The Cable Car's Bottom is glass/Transparent and half of the glass walls are just grills so you could feel the cold wind blowing from the outside while you hang in the middle and enjoy the wonderful view. It will continue onto the other side and land on the Blue Mountains National Park where you could enjoy the view and take photos.

Above is a snap of me at the top of the blue Mountains. Wonderful right? It took me a few minutes staring at this view because words couldnt explain how beautiful it is. After this i took a trek down to that waterfalls at the rainforest. It was pretty! Even if it is kinda akward that i was in my fur coat at the waterfall. It was really nice. Above that falls was benches where you could go and have a family picnic. Not knowing that there was a falls below we had our picnic that area for lunch.
The Long Trek and Adventure at the Blue Mountains was worth it! The Cable Car experience was really one for the books and off the bucket list. Outside scenic world are statues of the three sisters and aboriginals. Ill end this post with a Photo of us goofin around w/ the statues.

Around AU in 58 Days: Three Sisters,Katoomba

Just a few minutes from Sydney is Katoomba Blue Mountains. You could go there Via Car , Via train and go down to katoomba there there will be Bus tours that will take you around Blue Mountains. Three Sisters is the famous icon of Katoomba. According to the Aboriginal Legend The Tree Sisters were three beautiful ladies of the local aboriginal tribe that fell in love w/ men from the enemy. They were Forbidden to get married and sentenced to get killed but then an elder tried to protect them and then turned them into stone. Unfortunately the elder got killed and no one could turn them back.

At the Lookout you could see the guide if the different forms you will see. My Uncle told me I was lucky to be able to see clouds at the view because that rarely happens. It was freezing up there because we were right above the clouds already. But from the look out you could take a trek down and get close to the three sisters via the Giant Stairway.

When you reach the giant stairway you could go down and chill under the rock of the Three Sisters. It was kinda creepy because the stairs was steep and it was freezing since the stairway is levelling the clouds. It would be a little scary to look down because the all you see is a cliff. but so far everything is worth it! Definitely one for the books. I would recommend you not to miss this if ever you are coming to visit sydney. Save your day to take a tour at the blue mountains.

Around AU in 58 Days: Athletic Feel at Sydney's Olympic Village

The Sydney Olympic park / Village hosted the Sydney 2000 Olympics. The area was really huge and you have to well drive around if your lazy because if youre gonna walk around it im sure its gonna burn loads of calories already:)) The highlight of my visit was the ANZ Stadium. Its where the big games happen

To walk around outside the arena is pretty tiring already. Also outside the arena are  i think names of the players who played during the games? im not really sure because i was just taking photos w/it, Typical Tourist.

My Favorite spot in the Olympic Park is the Aquatic Center. Being a swimmer my self i find it amazing to be stepping on the same floor with the world's best male & Female swimmers. I was reading their wall of Fame corner and there are still loads of multi awarded swimmers i dont know.

Its really a big place and they have different sections for training. They have kiddie pools. Lap Pools , They also have Sprint Pools with Corresponding lane for every stroke you wanna swim and they also have a cool down lane labeled:) How organized right? On my next visit! Im sure ill try swimming there but definitely not on a winter day:)) They even have a number of Huge Pace clocks from speedo!

Imma swim a lap of a hundred meters here when i get back! Like a pro!

Around AU in 58 Days: Japanese Garden

My Uncle & Auntie made me experience that typical picnic they have in sydney. After buying Huge Kebabs from Auntie's favorite store we went to this zen garden to chill out and enjoy our food. It was winter season so the flowers in the garden aren't in full bloom. Still it is already starting here are some shots of the lovely flowers around the garden

Lovely right?:) Its so relaxing to just look at it especially to my mom who is a big fan of flowers roses and all sorts of plants actually. The Next time we had to go there spring season so we would see the tulips in full bloom. Aside from flowers everywhere still starting to bloom, I also like the japanese zen ambiance in the garden. From Brick walls to man made lakes where you would see ducks and swans around.and even a Peacock! Yes! It is normal for a Peacock to be running loose outside around the garden! It isnt caged like what we have in zoos.

I was Lucky to get as close to the Peacock w/o scaring him or having him mad at me. I was lucky to get close to the ducks too but my auntie said i almost got them mad:) whoops i didnt know ducks bite so i had to stand up from where i was looking at them before they bite me:) It was indeed a nice picnic experience. one for the books because i never would experience this in the philippines.

Around AU in 58 Days: Sydney Opera House

An Architectural Wonder, Sydney Opera House. A famous attraction in Sydney, you havent been to sydney if you havent been in the Opera House. The Opera House Opens only in certain days. I was lucky to be able to take a tour inside and know its story.
The Opera House was designed by Mr, Utzon. His proposed design of the opera house won among many other hopefuls who joined the contest. Before everything happened there were struggles in implementing and constructing this type of design. This type of design was hard to build.... to keep the long story short it took years before the opera house became possible and sad to say its architect Mr. Utzon died without seeing his Masterpiece.
Down the red carpet of the Sydney Opera House. Not even as an artist but it feels so nice to be walking in the same floor that wonderful TV & Theater actresses walk in when they perform in this Opera House.
In this photo behind me is a painting made by Mr. Utzon himself. If you would look closer to the picture you would see his signature painted on it. This painting is in the Utzon Room, Dedicated to the architect of the opera house. But only his son was able to take a step in this room.
I am amazed how this part of the room looks like. Its like a part of the Skeleton of this building.I dont know how to explain its just nice.

Across the Sydney Opera House you will see the Sydney Harbour Bridge.A wonderful spot where you can chill out and watch the sunset. You could also actually climb the harbour bridge but it would be costly and it would take guts to climb it. Someday i will go back and try climbing that bridge. Im sure its gonna be one for the books. For now i would be inspired with the story of the Opera House. A masterpiece. For the love of the arts.

WHAT I WORE:
Black Long Sleeves, Orange Vest (Forever 21), Belt ( valley Girl AU), Boots ( Williams Au), Shades:( RayBan), Hat ( Dotti)

Balagbag Falls, Real Quezon

What we know most in Real Quezon are beach resorts. They do have Balagbag Falls for a change. Honestly when i was a kid i remember going to these place its just that i didnt remember what it was called.
My first of Summer 2013.On a road trip to Real Quezon we stopped over this nice view from a mountain side. The road to quezon from Cainta is about 3 hours so it makes our butts kinda numb to be sitting for 3 hours straight.Though it was a relief when we arrived at Balagbag Falls.

Beautiful isnt it. I actually climbed up to that but didnt jump. They said that this falls was the same spot where Stars of ABSCBN's Angelito Jm De Guzman & Chari Pineda Jumped off in one of their episodes. I saw kids jumping but didnt attempt anymore cause i was scared that i couldnt jump off properly.

The water was cold and clear. perfect temperature to jump into this summer. Relaxing, rejuvenating its just so serene in the place. A wonderful nature trip, defnitely reccomending this to those who are planning a trip to quezon.

This is whats on the other side! before you take a short trek into the rainforest to go to the falls. Youll see this stony Beach on the other end. If im not mistaken it is already the pacific ocean. Such a nice View in this place. A good place to loosen up and think things over. A good break away from the chaos!
