2013 has been Good to my Career

        Yes Im back to Blogging again! Before i share to everyone all the latest events im going to. I would like to Thank Everyone whos been with me since this year started. 2013 entered so great that ive been given a lot of great opportunities in this career path. After i was Successful reaching halfway of my goal weight last january, I was able to get back into productions.. I was happy to get back on Set of Maynila not as a Trainee/ Production Assistant but as an Actress for the episode entitled "Love Rebound" where i played the role of Phytos Kyriacou's Ex girlfriend. I liked the feeling of acting and so i tried my luck and attended open auditions. It about a month that i've been going out almost everyday to line up for different castings and VTRs .I was right! This career path was meant for me as I was able to get regular Cameo Appearances in ABSCBN's Hit Teleseryes like Kahit Konting Pagtingin. Be Careful with my Heart, Kailangan Koy Ikaw & May Isang Pangarap.

         Along with casting calls i still attended acting workshops so to learn more in the field of acting. Ive met my acting Mentors Aljay Mark Jabian who is a theater actor & Direk Lir dela Cruz from Artista Academy. They didnt only teach me acting, they taught me how to put my heart and soul into this craft. I came to discover the passion i had for this craft . I then continued to audition until I got my First Lead role in a Stage Play Entitled 2 by Guerrero: Three Rats & Basketball Fight. I was new and had to play the role of Nita the Adultress together with Cosmopolitan Model Mehran Khaledi & PBB Alumni Yves Flores we were able to pull off a successful Opening show for Three Rats. Seventh Stage Productions are known to train ABSCBN's new actors with stage performance and that includes Xian Lim who played in Oedipus the King before he got his role in my Binondo Girl. Also Tetchi Agbayani who first played my Role as Nita.

           I also Got my Lead Roles in a Short Film entitled Magbalik by Lemuel Belaro of the known band Callalily. It is gonna be his& Mowelfund's Entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival Student category. Also Coming Soon is my First Full Length Comedy Film "Pangkoy Ong" by Direk Jonah Lim. It was challenging for me cause delivering lines in comedy even though some parts where dramatic was a bit hard. I had to study the character it needs to make it funny. I also have another upcoming short film but then im not allowed to announce yet.

          The Highlight of this year is my journey to being Bubble Gang's Bagong Gang. Its what I consider my biggest step in television. Far from the Heavy Drama I perform on stage as Nita Comedy in different sketches is definitely not easy. i was sent by my Colleague from PETA Cate Aquino to Audition and so I lined up at the auditions. Together with a lot of celebrity sons and daughters, talents from the artist center & ordinary hopefuls like me. I was there patiently waiting for my turn on cam! I thought I didnt make it to the show as it was about a month already and there wasnt a call back. Yet I got a text from my manager that i was called back for an episode of top 25 Immersion which i posted before. Again I waited for a call and after 2 months i was surprised to recieve a message of getting in as the Final top 10 Members of the Bagong Gang! so Watch Out & Continue to Support me as Bagong Gang Member by watching every Friday 10:30 pm n GMA7.             Last but not the least is a new nourished talent to back me up in this journey. I got into singing!been taking lessons at Center for Pop Megamall with their Celebrity Voice Coach Prince Bendijo. He taught me more of attaining good voice quality, proper voice placements but most of all how you could be the song and sing with your heart. They also gave me the opportunity to shine and tapped me to be launched as one of their Newest Concert Artist. So on November 11 We will have a Show at the Music Museum entitled P.O.P Reloaded the Concert.

             I would like to thank everyone whos been supporting me in this journey. All those giving me opportunities and teaching me great lessons to enhance what i now have. I will always give my best for all of you guys You are my Inspiration!

A short while worth the 2 Year Wait

      Finally after everyone's busy schedule in work and school. We managed to get together for our dear friend who came back to the Philippines for vacation all the way from Canada.

  

      It was her intention to surprise us so his boyfriend posted about a get together that day because he would be bringing a surprise guest. I kinda felt it was gonna be Ninia so i had to go and make sure. Went to Moa with them, just like the frosh days where we used to hang out  there by the bay on our free time w/ friends from the block. Our Favorite Spot at the Mall of Asia well the Bay Area:) We usually hang out there to watch the sunset

         I really missed her since she left 2 years ago back when we were in our second year of studying the same course. She left for canada leaving a year of subjects in college. We usually have catch up talks specially those weary days i had with BBM but its different of course if you see her personally already. We used to listen to the same music during writting period as our professor allows us to listen to music to set our mood. Shes definitely one of my best buds in college.Listening to all her stories when she got back to visit, I am so happy of what she is doing and achieved in her life journey.

             Ninia & her boyfriend Iel took their ride up at the MOA eye. I admire this couple so much because despite the long distance relationship they have, they still are as sweet as the first time they were together. 2 years that they were apart and a few weeks to be together, thats what you call love right there. Even if there were problems encountered they still keep the love for each other burning. They trust each other so much & understand both situations. They should be a good example to other couples out there.

2 by Guerrero "The Opening Show"

          May 18, 2013 around 11:30am Seventh Stage Production had its first showing of 2 by Guerrero at SM San Lazaro. 2 by Guerrero: are two, one act plays written by National Artist Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero.

          First on stage was a heavy drama of Gonzalo ,Nita & Adrian, Three Rats. I played the role of Nita the adultress. Being my legit stage play i would say that playing the role of Nita is so far the most challenging role i've done in a few months ive been trying to pursue this acting career. Ive done a lot of the "sweet sweetan"/tweetums roles but not as heavy as this one. Malalim ang hugot sa role na ito at inaaamin ko na sobra ako nahirapan ako magbigay ganap kay nita.It was a big sturdy wall of consciousness i had to break to bring her out. I had to separate my real self to Nita who is far away from the real me. I had to forget who I am to be consistent in doing Nita. I had to show everyone who Nita is. Everyone has to see Nita in order for me to Pull it off.

           There were good and bad consequences of playing the role too. For the bad thing well I say theres always a first time to be hated but it really gets to me from time to time. I just think that i was succesfull in portraying Nita and they see Nita, besides no one should have the right to judge a person without personally trying to get to know him/her. Maybe thats the only not really that bad but somehow just affected me but there is still a good thing with that event because i learned to be strong but still be able to feel. For the GOOD well it is such a wonderful experience and i learned so much. I learned to squeeze out everything and give it all. forget who you are and allow yourself to transform into character. Break the walls of consciousness, I had a chance to get to know my co- actors. I got to see how the Star Magic Artists I was working with were in person. I am happy to see the real them.I learned to love acting more than i do now .

         Mehran Khaledi (Model/ Actor) was my Gonzalo. He played the role of my husband . Yves Flores was my dearest adrian and adrian's best friend. I am very thankful to this men because they helped me a lot in characterization. Thank you for being so patient.  The second act was Basketball Fight staring a love team that originated from PBB Teens,Alec Dungo &  Jai Agpangan. Marc Alcala & Vince Ricafrentte played as their Moms. This story is much lighter in comparison w/ Three Rats . Basketball Fight will get those hearts tickled as you watch the love story of Pepito and Alicia. Even if they come from the Rival schools every UAAP season Ateneo & DLSU they still manage to save their relationship and continue on with their happy ever after.

          I didnt have any on stage photo so heres one i found on instagram. Thak you so much for everyone who watch and supported me in this. For those of you who knew me personally, for those ive told about my journey, every tear accidentally shed is know worth it. Every step i took and decision was worth it. For those who dont know me personally but came to support and liked my performance. Thank you so much for supporting me and thank you for those who gave me the chance to prove my self.
