2 by Guerrero "The Opening Show"

          May 18, 2013 around 11:30am Seventh Stage Production had its first showing of 2 by Guerrero at SM San Lazaro. 2 by Guerrero: are two, one act plays written by National Artist Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero.

          First on stage was a heavy drama of Gonzalo ,Nita & Adrian, Three Rats. I played the role of Nita the adultress. Being my legit stage play i would say that playing the role of Nita is so far the most challenging role i've done in a few months ive been trying to pursue this acting career. Ive done a lot of the "sweet sweetan"/tweetums roles but not as heavy as this one. Malalim ang hugot sa role na ito at inaaamin ko na sobra ako nahirapan ako magbigay ganap kay nita.It was a big sturdy wall of consciousness i had to break to bring her out. I had to separate my real self to Nita who is far away from the real me. I had to forget who I am to be consistent in doing Nita. I had to show everyone who Nita is. Everyone has to see Nita in order for me to Pull it off.

           There were good and bad consequences of playing the role too. For the bad thing well I say theres always a first time to be hated but it really gets to me from time to time. I just think that i was succesfull in portraying Nita and they see Nita, besides no one should have the right to judge a person without personally trying to get to know him/her. Maybe thats the only not really that bad but somehow just affected me but there is still a good thing with that event because i learned to be strong but still be able to feel. For the GOOD well it is such a wonderful experience and i learned so much. I learned to squeeze out everything and give it all. forget who you are and allow yourself to transform into character. Break the walls of consciousness, I had a chance to get to know my co- actors. I got to see how the Star Magic Artists I was working with were in person. I am happy to see the real them.I learned to love acting more than i do now .

         Mehran Khaledi (Model/ Actor) was my Gonzalo. He played the role of my husband . Yves Flores was my dearest adrian and adrian's best friend. I am very thankful to this men because they helped me a lot in characterization. Thank you for being so patient.  The second act was Basketball Fight staring a love team that originated from PBB Teens,Alec Dungo &  Jai Agpangan. Marc Alcala & Vince Ricafrentte played as their Moms. This story is much lighter in comparison w/ Three Rats . Basketball Fight will get those hearts tickled as you watch the love story of Pepito and Alicia. Even if they come from the Rival schools every UAAP season Ateneo & DLSU they still manage to save their relationship and continue on with their happy ever after.

          I didnt have any on stage photo so heres one i found on instagram. Thak you so much for everyone who watch and supported me in this. For those of you who knew me personally, for those ive told about my journey, every tear accidentally shed is know worth it. Every step i took and decision was worth it. For those who dont know me personally but came to support and liked my performance. Thank you so much for supporting me and thank you for those who gave me the chance to prove my self.

2 by Guerrero: Rehearsal Blues

         A  blog entry about the last 2 days before our opening show and im loaded w/ things to say. My feelings that time, my journey to the character and the pressure i feel until the hour of our performances

       OH no we have 2 nights left before our opening show. Well my hold of my character is still not tight. I shall focus relax and internalize for me to be able to get that character on stage. Been weeks that ive been literally thrown around in rehearsing some scenes. Even ive got wounds and bruises i try to endure the pain cause i know this is for my own training as an actress. Like i always say No Pain No Gain.I actually felt pressure, i get to the poing of asking myself, will I be able to make Nita live when im on stage?

      This is what I like after rehearsals. Cast Bonding! for this Jai asked for a workout for me but apparently she only lasted like less than 30 minutes. The cast bonding is like my cool down before i head home. After all the challenges i have to face for the role. After all the pressure to transform into character when you are acting on stage. Its just good to chill around and talk to them.

      Since it was also brylle's bday we decided to have a food trip in Timog! haha unlucky Yves went home already he wasnt able to join us. I really had fun w/ our joy ride. It was once crazy ride on the way to timog for snacks.

        It was Jai who first introduced us to this side street cafe. She found it while walking one morning. They have fresh Fruit shakes. I got Melon for myself, sharks fin & Siomai. Whats funny is that while we were snacking the cast of Basketball Fight segment were throwing lines. I was kinda OP hello my two leading men were not around so who do i throwlines with. This calls for a Repeat!i super had fun!

       I know all the JaLec Fans are gonna love this stolen Photo i took. We were all called in 11 Pm for setup, technicals and rehearsals but while stage set up was being done. I inflated my air bed lay down for a while to rest before our stage run. I stood up to get something from my suitcase and boom! next thing i know alec was having a candy crush moment with jai! i cant help but be kilig because they have chemistry when they act & i like how they are in character still off stage. In this photo i think Alec was teaching Jai to candy crush! as far as i know they are both new in trying out the game:)Sweet right? Thats how Alicia & Pepito is! In character parin sila even off stage. That makes a good actor & Actress.

        These are just a few stories to share on our journey to give you guys a Good show. Sleepless nights, Malalalim na Hugot for me, The effort to be into character, The effort and emotion we bring out to move & affect you, to touch your heart with the tragic story of Adrian Nita & Gonzalo until you cool down with the light and happy feel of basketball fight.

          A week before our Opening show for 2 by Guerrero we had another Meet & Greet for those who will purchase tickets. Bonding with em, smiling and laughing w/ them definitely relieves the pressure.

               Ate Ara brought food for us. Fresh Lumpia & Leche Flan:) Its really sweet of her to bring us some food:) Thank You ate It was really Yummy:)

A Short While for 2 by Guerrero

         May 4, 2013 We had a mini Meet & Greet at the 2nd Floor of Mcdonalds located in front of ABSCBN ELJ building. We personal sold tickets for our stage play entitled 2 by Guerrero. before i start this story I want to say Thank you to those who bought tickets to our opening show on Saturday.

 Along w/ Jai,Alec and our Marketing Team Brylle and Icia.I got to know a lot of nice people who we promoted the tickets to. I also had fun talking / bonding w/ people behind AlecFever even the owner of one of my favorite twitter handles @ ilovebobong, @celebicelebi ,etc. I may be new in the industry but im happy to know that there are people who support me in doing this craft.You guys are my inspiration , my strength in doing my best in this industry. Thank you so much

I nearly wasnt able to go to this since i had to run to a bday dinner after but then i decided to stop by for a while after rehearsals and every minute was worth it with you guys.I will stay longer at the next wave of Meet & Greet. So I hope to see more of you on May 11 2013 2nd Floor. 2 by Guerrero Rehearsal BTS: Immerse

             Still counted as one of those days that I am having trouble immersing into character as i need to get a strong hold of Nita. The need to be someone you are not and break the wall of consciousness. Forget thy self and be the character even if you are not rehearsing even just for that certain rehearsal day that i should be fully immersed as Nita. Those instances that made me realize that Acting is not really easy.It is about skill & passion for the arts. It is something you have to love doing first before giving it a try. Learning how to act like someone who's a complete opposite of who you are. Immerse thats still what i keep trying to do.

2 by Guerrero: Take Two

       We were supposed to have a lunch bonding in a japanese restaurant in our village but then since Yves was late we ended up chilling out in Mcdo while we wait for him.I drove everyone after to my place then it was immidiately a Take two for our reading rehearsals. This time since we got an idea of how it should be delivered. Expectations are somewhat raised even if its just rehearsals. First to rehearse is Three Rats.

       More excercises were given to us during reading rehearsals to improve the way we deliver. Every detail and idea injected in delivering the lines.

..And we are done with reading. After three Rats of course it was time for Basketball Fight for the reading.

The Story of Basketball fight is lighter in comparison to ours but then well since were done Even yves was supposed to go somewhere he then stayed so we had a little snack bonding with our Marketing Associates while Basketball Fight was rehearsing

A few minutes before basketball fight finished rehearsing. Yves had to leave already since he had to go up north for i think an event. But before that i got a chance to talk with Mommy Rose Flores as i recognized her outside waiting for her son. I did invite her over to get some snack and she did gave me an invite if im available to go to the Myrves GTG on sunday. I might not be doing anything aside from workshop so i guess ill be there:)

You are so kind Mommy Rose:) A few minutes later Basketball fight was finished already so after snacking with them we had this quick photo op before they leave.

2 by Guerrero : Three Rats & Basketball Fight

                     I think this is the post almost everyone is looking forward to, well correct me if i'm wrong. The Official Photos of the stage play i've been tweeting and instagraming about. 2 By Guerrero! Just to give you a background, Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero is a National Artist for Philippine Theater. So its an honor to present this play to everyone to enjoy and learn lessons from.

       The play will be starting with Three Rats and followed by Basketball Fight. Both written by Wilfrido Ma. Guerrero. Here are the Official Posters for each act but i still encourage you to promote the Flyer especially to 3rd & 4th Year High School Students & College Students.

 

     For those of you who is not familiar with the play.Three Rats is about a Love Affair going on between Adrian , Nita & Gonzalo. I wouldn't spoil the story anymore. I just wanna keep on saying its something you really have to watch out for because we are preparing so much for this and it is a regret if you would miss it!

      I(Nicole Borgonia) will be Playing the role of Nita,My Adrian will be Yves Flores while My Gonzalo will be played by Mehran Khaledi

          This second act entitled Basketball fight is something lighter in comparison with Three Rats. A story about ATENEO & DLSU rivalry. I as a Lasallian who experienced this rivalry shall say its something everyone should watch because its just how it happens in reality. Something to lighten up your day.

            Basketball fight will be starring PBB Teen Edition 4 ex housemates. Jai Agpangan & Alec Dungo. Seventh Stage Productions Marc Alcala & Vincent Ricafrente.

We Will have a Gala Performance around May 2013. BTS 2 by Guerrero:The First

         Weeks ago I announced that i was casted as one of the Female Lead of a stage play Three Rats.Three Rats is a part of a back to back show of Seventh Stage Production entitled 2 by Guerrero. 2 Guerrero plays in one show , the other one will be Basketball Fight.

          For Three Rats I will be playing the role of Nita along with two new generation leading men:").PBB Teen Edition 4's ex- Housemate Yves Gonzales will be my Adrian. While Cosmo Hunk & Theater Actor Mehran Khaledi will be my Gonzalo.For those who doesnt know three rats I shall give you a peak of what the story is when I post the Official Posters.

          On the other hand another Guerrero play Basketball Fight will be presented by PBB Teen Edition 4 ex Housemates Jai Agpangan & Alec Dungo. Backed up by Seventh Stage Production's Theater Artist Marc Alcala & Vincent Villafuerte.

          Last Tuesday if you're already following me on twitter I tweeted about having a photoshoot & initial reading for our play so here are some photos that will show you what transpired during our first Meeting.......

 Before everyone came our Official Photographer Raniel Hernandez  came already so we had time to talk about things we can do to make the shoot nicer and also share about the knowledge we have for photography as I am also a Photographer.

After the shoot of Basketball fight it was our turn (Three Rats) to shoot for our Poster. I wasnt able to get to know much yet with Yves & Mehran before our photoshoot, since it was the first time for the  three of us to meet. They are really nice so it was'nt hard for me to get along and get comfortable with them. Mehran was naturally funny and very lively while Yves was at first quite but later on hes already talking to me. Mehran was a theater actor for three years so its so easy for him to pick up every direction already. While i did theater on a summer workshop last year i still count this a my first Legit experience of real theater acting. Technically as far as I know it will be the First time for Yves & I to have a theater project. So heres a few Behind the scenes shots of our Photoshoot.

           After our Reading we had dinner in our place also since we are already in our place and a few steps away from my kitchen. We got ourselves Food cooked by Mercy Feliciano. The cook behind my favorite food corner in our village.Mehran Yves & I were first on the table since we were first to finish and then Jai, Alec, Marc, Vince & Direk followed.

         The afternoon went great for us, well for me who met everyone for the first time. I suppose the Reading went well too for both acts.As of now i can already see a great play being produced by Seventh Stage Productions and Direk Mel Magno. Im excited for our next meetings!Will keep you posted on things you need to now about this production on my next posts.This is it for now!
