Mom and I went on a cruise to Fremantle. rode on a Captain Cook cruise. The cruise line was named after the famous Captain cook who as far as i know discovered the great barrier reef in australia when his ship hit the corals.Let me take you to my cruise to the swan river.
before boarding the vessel
A couple of bottle nose dolphins were spotted in the salt water lake:)
A beach house by the river. This is my dream.
and were on Fremantle and rode the tram that stops on the famous spots of fremantle. The tram looks like the one we have in corregidor.
Here are some photos of the places we stopped and hoped off from the tram.
First was a war memorial Marker.
Next were to the streets of fremantle.
I love how they maintain the architectural designs until the present.
My favorite stop was the Fishing boat harbour. Its where the pelicans hang out and in this harbour are the best seafood restaurants to eat at:) I got Fish and Chips at Kailis and mom and I walked arounf the harbour while waiting for the tram:) It was really really nice to eat by the harbour and i adore the pelicans discipline they do not go near you unless you give them food:). If you remember the clip from finding nemo where the pelicans were chillin its in this place.because finding nemo was australian inspired. Nemo wa in the great barrier reef.
Heres a photo diary of my Fremantle Harbour walk
After the harbour just went around the fremantle center to get some souvineirs and were back on a cruise back to the city. I was lucky because by the time we were getting back to the city it was sunset and I went out the veranda of the vessel to take some photos. heres my semi titanic feeling by the veranda
It was indeed a nice experience and you should definitely put on your list a captain cook cruise to fremantle when you go to perth.
