Around AU in 58 Days: Chinese Garden of Friendship

  The Chinese garden of Friendship is one of the many attractions in Darling Harbour. Honestly speaking it took us a week to enjoy almost all the attractions in Darling Harbour. The Chinese garden of friendship is just one big garden. Well for me it may actually be one big set of Mulan. Very Zen and relaxing in the area you wouldnt think you are in the city.

   Around the garden are different plants described and labeled. There are also some plants that only appear on certain season. They say its most beautiful in the garden during spring because its where all the flowers bloom.

     Whats very "mulan-feel" in this garden are the temples! situated by their man made lake, the only thing lacking is me in a japanese robe singing......when will my reflection show who i am inside"... haha. Everything has that beautiful oriental detail. Im not really sure what the temples are for because im not chinese but i do appreciate the design so much and hopefully id have a good budget to shoot here next time.

Im definitely loving getting lost in this garden. You could also get to wear a traditional costume for an additional cost. but i chose not to and heres just a stolen shot by mom with the cute kids in their costumes. I do really love this place its not like our ordinary chinese gardens in the philippines. This garden is well maintained

Dolphins Reunited

                 We got invited to the Opening of one of my former teamate in swimming. Its far up antipolo ,quite isolated but it is such a nice view. Its been quite a while weve been together so it was exciting to get to see and bond with these people again.

                    They did have a nice outdoor setup very bright like summer. Plus the food was delicious too. Great to enjoy a wonderful sunset at the mountain with fine food.

                                    I missed them so much!We got a chance to talk to each other for a while and funny how we were guessing on each others age. Talking about how we grew our muscles loose and the after effects of stopping from swimming.

                   Also got a chance to be a "singer" for the night as we had to sing because it was their form of karaoke:)) Something trippy because we rarely see each other.Then i thought i should take more singing lessons because Venice the kid i sang with has really great voice. At least i was in tune somehow thats whats important. I did enjoy this day actually and i do hope to see them real soon.

Around AU in 58 Days: War Memorial Museum ,Canberra

          This Memorial is built in honour of the brave souls who fought for Australia during the world war. Here exhibits the different vehicles, armors, uniforms of the soldiers and its leaders. You could also see figures showing how their life was during their time.

                The indoor exhibit halls is like a walk through timeline of the evends during tha war. Complete with detail. From what they are wearing to what vehicle they use. There are also some recovered photos and videos captured during that time. Everything is well preserved and organized chronologically. Even the underwater vehicles life boats of the war veterans are displayed.There are a few sections interactive too

On the Outdoors is a long wall of names in honour and recognition of all those who died in the war in different countries.There at the end of the wall also lies a wonderful chapel for one brave soul.

One brave soul that isnt recognized, unnamed. I do love the design of this chapel because its made of stained walls and drawn upon with mosaic tiles.

Around AU in 58 Days: Telecom Tower, Canberra

       One of the highest spots in Canberra is the Telecom Tower. This is where the phone signals come from and they also open it as a tourist spot. You get to see a sort of aerial view already of the tower.

Right at the outdoor peak of the tower this is what youll be seeing. A sort of aerial view of canberra and maybe the neighboring towns too. It was winter and we were at a peak so even if were layered with thick jumpers it is still freezing.

            Heres a glimpse of what you will see int he indoor area of the tower. You could still see the view and right above every window will be a description of which area you are looking at. What is there and what it is to do there.

The New Sexy is coming this Summer

          The image of sexy will all change this summer as Mae Paner appears on the big screen. this coming May entitled "Juana C the Movie"

           Mae Paner or popularly known as Juana Change is one of my favorite icons. Why?well for a lot of things but one of those is the Anti-Epal movement they promote. Epals who are referred to as politicians who put their names in every project they do (waiting sheds,buildings,activities etcs.)even in donation packs they give out during calamities.I do love how creative they were in reaching out their views to people. Her videos,tweets and other posts on different social networks are very humorous so the sense easily gets into the minds of most people in the society. Though we are entitled to our own freedom Juana Change just share her insights about the truth in our society. She is merely someone who could make us realize of what our goverment does to us. It is time to step up and make a change in our society.

         From the Directors of the movie 'Zombadings" they bring you "Juana C the Movie" it is said to be in cinemas May of this year. I believe this movie is something that everyone should watch out for! This is not your ordinary movie. It will make you laugh definitely but more importantly it will teach you a lesson and make you realize your part in our society. I am getting so excited for this. I think it is gonna be EPIC!

Around AU in 58 Days: Port Douglas ,Cairns Queensland

      Another destination far away from the city ptoper of cairns. Port douglas is surely a good retreat! If compared to the philippines its just like subic.

       Our first stop in Port Douglas, St. Mary's by the Sea. A little chapel in the community. What's nice about this chapel is the wonderful ambiance it creates. Instead of figures and stained glass windows the altar's background is the view of the beach, if i am not mistaken its a part of thefour mile beach.I could imagine how wonderful it is here if you get married in this chapel.

    We also got to visit this Old Courthouse. Its just like a little house comparedto what we usually see in the modern cities. Its not a building just a little literally house preserved well in its state as part to honor their heritage.

        We also went to the lookout and marker of the four-mile beach and then after we actually went down to the beach.

         It was winter time and compared to the 3-10 degrees temperature in perth the weather in cairns is pretty warm. Still the water is freezing:) Got a little posy on the rocks: lucky i was able to cross there because a few meters here in this photo there is a sighn wherein they said be careful because sometimes there are crocodiles int he are:) so i was skipping to the rocky area:) at least i got a nice shot!

          Feeling like its summer on a winter season.Heres a candid shot of me enjoying the waves even if the water was freezing!
