Around AU in 58 Days: Chinese Garden of Friendship

The Chinese garden of Friendship is one of the many attractions in Darling Harbour. Honestly speaking it took us a week to enjoy almost all the attractions in Darling Harbour. The Chinese garden of friendship is just one big garden. Well for me it may actually be one big set of Mulan. Very Zen and relaxing in the area you wouldnt think you are in the city.

Around the garden are different plants described and labeled. There are also some plants that only appear on certain season. They say its most beautiful in the garden during spring because its where all the flowers bloom.

Whats very "mulan-feel" in this garden are the temples! situated by their man made lake, the only thing lacking is me in a japanese robe singing......when will my reflection show who i am inside"... haha. Everything has that beautiful oriental detail. Im not really sure what the temples are for because im not chinese but i do appreciate the design so much and hopefully id have a good budget to shoot here next time.
Im definitely loving getting lost in this garden. You could also get to wear a traditional costume for an additional cost. but i chose not to and heres just a stolen shot by mom with the cute kids in their costumes. I do really love this place its not like our ordinary chinese gardens in the philippines. This garden is well maintained

WHAT I WORE:
Sweater dress from Topshop, Scarf:Gift, Boots from Cherrylane Uggs
Shades from Just Jeans AU

Around AU in 58 Days: Telecom Tower, Canberra

One of the highest spots in Canberra is the Telecom Tower. This is where the phone signals come from and they also open it as a tourist spot. You get to see a sort of aerial view already of the tower.

Right at the outdoor peak of the tower this is what youll be seeing. A sort of aerial view of canberra and maybe the neighboring towns too. It was winter and we were at a peak so even if were layered with thick jumpers it is still freezing.

Heres a glimpse of what you will see int he indoor area of the tower. You could still see the view and right above every window will be a description of which area you are looking at. What is there and what it is to do there.

Around AU in 58 Days: Australian Parliament House, Canberra

Canberra is the Capital of Australia so there you could find their famous Parliament house that is open for tourists. You could go in and be a spectator for a day when the senators and congressmen have their session. By the time we were there it was a holiday so there was no session.
With my mom, uncle Roger and Auntie Ophelia at the Convention hall or Function room of the parliament house. This is where the goverment officials hold their events.

at the Lobby and halls of the parliament house! I feel so fabolous walking around the building. I am walking on the same grounds where Australia's Politicians walk! The structures are mostly white and they also got small exhibits in some parts showing facts about the history of the Australian Goverment.

Also got in the Senate Session Room. The Senate's room is themed green. We were at the spectators area. Rhis is where the public could watch whenever they have sessions even on ordinary days.

The Fabolous Congress! haha I loved the congress because it is themed in my favorite color, PINK!. I would love to watch a session here and observe how they do debate about things for the australian people. Well thats something that we should do in the philippines. Open the sessions to the public spectators.

Here we are at the rooftop of the parliament house! It was Freezing! and yes! it was so nice to chill out there, You get to enjoy the view of Canberra.

Here I am at the facade of the Congress and the Outdoor grounds of the parliament house. It was 5 degrees i think and it was raining thats why if you noticed we are all layered up with jumpers. Im so glad to be able to feel like a politician for a day here in the beautiful building.I wish there is something like this in the philippines.

Impromptu

One of the many impromptu plans we have is today's lunch out at Tita Mercy Feliciano's (of Mercy's Food Corner) We actually came from a morning workout and we just found out we were invited in her home for lunch right in the middle of our work out. So i didnt really get to plan what to wear and ended up with the first thing i saw in my closet.
Floral top from Mooloolah AU, Shorts from a random Bazaar, Sandals that comes with an anklet from Suki

Since the weather was hot and it is definitely summer already went for something light. I wanted to go in blue since its a good cold color temperature. Its already hot to wear warm colors:))

All the accesories i wore and the bag were gifts to me :)

What do you think of today's look?

Around AU in 58 Days: Sea World,Gold Coast

Aside from the different Animal Encounters there are also Different indoor and Outdoor exhibits that you could enjoy. First that you will see when you enter sea world on your left will be the building of penguin encounters.

You could get to observe them on how they move in a habitat designed for them/On Ice & Under the water. No need to go to polar places for you to see them. They are just right here in Sea World Gold Coast.

Next would be an Indoor exhibit of dinos where your kids would learn and they would be able to experience some interactive things to activate the dinos and act like they are real. Though they also have an outdoor exhibit.

The Outdoor exhibit Dino Island is like a little jungle where in they have huge life size dinos that move and roars as if they are real. Maybe it could get a little surprising when they roar out of the blue but so far it is really a good set to be in.
Another attraction for your kids to enjoy is this 3D Animation house where you get to watch a 3D movie of spongebob and his friends under the sea.

Sea Lion Exhibit & show. Here I am on their set waiting before the show. The show is nice you can find it in one of my previous posts.

Nickelodeon also have thier huge souvineir store that caters various merchandise of spongebob, dora and nickelodeon shows featured in sea world.

As for WHAT I WORE: Well It was Winter & It was sunny Hence.
Leggings from A Bazaar in Manila, Inner Long Sleeves from Uniqlo, Sunnies from Just Jeans AU
