Australian Mint. Is one of the famous attractions in Canberra.It is where their money is made from metal until the stage where it is embossed with details of its value.
There you could also see the evolution of the appearance of australian coins from way back until today. They also have in their exhibit those rare coins found and made. Those that wasnt release because of defects and the like
The Australian mint also have lecture tours running i think every hour so kids could be admitted here too. It is something good to feed to their curious minds. Its amazing how they kept and preserve everything in their collection and i bet it would be bigger in the years to come.
